I am currently a second year grad student at Oklahoma State University. I am studying geology with an emphasis in geophysics. I like to study a wide variety of subjects. Therefore, while I might be a geology major, I also like math, history, English, and all of the different sciences. I have even been able to participate in a wide variety of geology research studies.I started working in education at Brigham Young University as a teaching assistant during my sophomore year. Since then, I have also been a historical geology instructor assistant for nine semesters. I also started a detailed mentored research project, where I made maps and illustrations of Indian Peak Caldera area. I even predicted the first order Jahn Teller distortion by using mathematical modeling and statistics.I have found that I am very well versed in many math subjects, such as elementary math all the way to arithmetic. I also am very fond of everything that involves literature, such as persuasive writing, fiction writing, world literature, and technical writing. I can also help my students with study skills and organization, test prep, and homework support.In my spare time, I really enjoy playing the piano and guitar. I also like ceramics, animals, and painting.
